Steve C. lee
Steve Lee joined Chappell, Smith & Associates, Inc. as a Commercial lines agent on January 1, 2005. He has been involved in the placement of Commercial lines insurance since 1969. Steve began his insurance career as an underwriting assistant with Employers Insurance of Wausau, working in Atlanta and Nashville offices. He then transitioned to the agent side of insurance with Corroon and Black. While at Corroon and Black, Steve handled the corporate account for Shoney's, Inc. and many of their franchisees. In 1980, Steve moved to Security Insurance, Inc., where he continued his placement of coverage for individual restaurant operations as well as franchisee operations throughout the country. Steve was born in Temple, GA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Economics from West Georgia College. He earned his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1976. He and his wife Sammye have lived in Franklin, TN for 25 years. They have three children. |

todd C. lee
Todd Lee joined Chappell, Smith & Associates, Inc. as a Commercial lines agent on January 1, 2005. Todd has worked in the insurance field since 1997. Todd comes to Chappell, Smith & Associates, Inc.from Security Insurance, Inc. where he was employed for four years. While at Security Insurance, he specialized in placing insurance coverage for homebuilders, contractors, restaurants and manufacturers. Todd also worked for Travelers Insurance from 1998 to 2001, handling Commercial accounts with large liability and property exposures. He was also responsible for large loss business interruption and property claims, including on-site investigations and customer care throughout the claims procedure. Todd was a member of the Travelers National Catastrophe Team, traveling around the country to assess damage and process claims. Todd is a native Tennesseean, who attended Franklin High School before going on to the University of Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with an emphasis in Economics. He is currently working toward becoming a Certified Insurance Counselor. Todd and his wife Stephanie reside in Franklin. |
